Module 11 - Christopher Guido

Technological Tools for assisting students with special and/or diverse needs and noting the specific learning outcomes for each Technology:

http://www.iser.com/special-needs-software.html

This is a great website for someone looking for information and tools for teaching students with special/diverse needs. The website offers different links based on the need you are looking for the student to concentrate on. The website is more of a directory that list software for many learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, ADD/ADHD issues, vision problems and auditory problems (just to name a few). What is very cool about this directory is that it not only provides links to special needs software, but also to centers with their local listings section. This is a great website for teachers, tutors and parents to come to and find software that will help defeat the learning difficulty that their student/child is being challenged by.

Hi Chris! I chose the same website as you did, and I think we can agree that this website was the best example available! You described the website by the directory that is displayed. It is definitely a great resource for teachers to keep in mind while designing a proper lesson for a special needs student!
