Mod 11 - Lauren Leff

http://www.iser.com/special-needs-software.html

This website is full of great information and tools to help teach students with special needs.  Some special needs the tools specifically address are for those with learning disabilities like dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, vision problems, and auditory problems.  The website divides the technological tools into specific categories of the lesson it teaches.  Some of the examples include teaching through music (such as mathematical lessons and English ones), an online coloring book that helps teach motor skills involving the mouse and hand-eye coordination, and audible lessons to teach those who have reading comprehension difficulty.
I think this website is a very helpful tool because not only does it provide direct links to software, it also provides search engines specifically related to technological lessons for special needs students.

Lauren, I also did ISER.COM, because i thought it was the most benefical site out of the others that i researched. You stated that you liked it because it not only provides different links to the software but also different search engines related to the lessons. I completely agree with that, and I think that thats part of the reason why I chose this website. I also think this website is very organized, and easy to understand. You might want to add in one of the softwares you think would be effective for special need or diverse students, I think that would make your post even better! Good job though!
