Module 7 - Lauren Leff

http://nationsreportcard.gov/

I chose this website because it displays the statics of the performances of well-known tests by regions.  This website was created to help evaluate the progress a specific region is making in education.  They have scores recorded by tests and grade level.  The website even breaks the scores down into grade level and shows some practice questions for the subjects.  It is a very useful website for teachers to see if they are teaching their students what other students' around the nation are learning.

Lauren I really liked your website that you picked and it does seem to be similar to mine. I think its a great idea and greatly useful for the site to evaluate progress made by different regions so that we can know which areas need to be worked on and improved and which ones are doing well. It is also great to be able to see what other students around the country are learning as well so we can incorporate other learning styles and techniques into our own classrooms. Great choice!

Hey Lauren, you chose a great website to research. It seems our sites we chose are quite similar, I chose to research the National Center for Education Statistics site. Both sites give great information on national test scores. I feel though that the site you chosen is a little more simpler than mine. It's more 'straight-to-the-point' which is even better.
