Module 3 - Lauren Leff

As the world of technology is at a constant incline, it is becoming more involved with the educational world.  Though many people see this as a positive and necessity to future education, it also brings cons.  If the teacher does not present the information correctly in a PowerPoint, for example, it can deter the student’s learning ability to the subject.  Another large negative of this is the amount of money being spent on this.  It is necessary to have the most up-to-date technology if one is using technology in their teachings.  Needless to say, newer computers equal out to more money.  Institutions may in fact be spending too much money on this.  While there are other important costly factors in supporting the academics of school system, it is very tangible of an idea that funds are being poured too heavily on technologies especially if students are not exercising the full potential of them.

Lauren, You defitnley went over some information I didn't include in my powerpoint. You have a good point that using technology in all classroom would be extremely expensive. Also that teachers need to make sure that they know how to use technology and present it correctly to their students so they can learn and not be distracted with the technology.

Great Job.

Hey Lauren, you made a great point explaining how technology in the classroom can be costly. Technology is something that needs to be up to date in the classroom and as technology is constantly improving, it can be expensive. Also I enjoyed your ppp, it was straight to the point and followed your summary article very well.
